Branding you is about making yourself important - to distinguish yourself from others and be noticed in the crowd. You should take care off it because people who take the buying decision makes it more on a sense of an impulse in their head than the result of a logical thought, how is that? Why do they have such a role, although they are really just a label the brain uses to simplify management.
Working with your brand is to give identity to and learn to control what others are thinking when they think of something. Diana Mackay from FTfm say this "buyers are very nervous and brands creates a simple story of reliability and service delivery."
So what does this tell us! Learn how to get people to see things your way and this can be done by branding you to gain credibility and your prospects' trust is the key factor in our industry and in any industry really.
